Back in Ames
Well I'm back. I feel fairly rested and got to see (almost) everyone I wanted to when I was home on break. Plenty of good time with Mike, Dad, Mom, and Chris and an evening with Sarah and Samantha.
Today I signed the lease for my new apartment. It's the one I was excited about so that means I'll get to have my kitty and I'll be quite close to campus. All this is good. It's a little more expensive but assuming I'll have a job (which is in question) I'll be fine on paying the rent and having some money to live off of.
The only thing I need to do yet for that is turn in the information about Snickers. You know, name, ID, etc,
Well I'm back to work. A few of us are trying out a new policy of going in to work early and leaving work late in an attempt to become better graduate students. That duty calls me now.
