Being an avid gamer, I feel almost obligated to see Stay Alive. It just looks so bad.
I think that Amy Lee has such a wonderful voice. It may be the only reason that I like Evanescence. Well, probably not.
You know, I enjoyed Trigun a lot more when I first saw it than I watching it rerun and Adult Swim. This may be the first anime that I've actually enjoyed watching more with subtitles. Or maybe the dialog was just better. I don't know.
The BK Veggie Patty is a wonderful thing. I talked (read: barely prodded) Jake into swinging by Burger King on our way home from pool this evening.

I am currently the only candidate for the GPSS secretary. Things look good, but I should prepare a couple things to say in case someone else is nominated.
If you aren't watching The Boondocks you are missing out. It is some of the best television I have seen in a long time. It's very politically charged and isn't afraid to beat you over the head with it's point. The thing is, it rarely needs to resort to that.
I've been enjoying what I've had time to do with last.fm. It lets you tag music, keeps track of the songs you listen to, and download a player that lets you listen to music from a ton of categories (including "anime", always a good choice or, if you like, "bands similar to" a given band).
As a note, if Live Journal asks if you want to restore from a draft (when the page obviously has all the text you used to have) don't do it.
The plan to become a better graduate student is going well. I even got some work done last night on my "night off". That won't happen often though. Cards night is moving to Wednesday so I'll usually be over at Corey and nausicaa1's place.
A movie that I should really see is V is for Vendetta. I've heard that it is just exceptional.
I like Russ Feingold more and more each day. If you don't know what he's been up to, I suggest you look into it.

If you own a DS, like anime, and are looking for a good Super Smash Bros.-esque game, you need to get Jump Superstars. Although you will have to import it, it is well worth the money.
On another food note Girl Scout Cookies are great. I'm about to open up the last box I have. My reasoning is if I eat them sooner, I will be less tempted by them later. Now that's poor logic.
I got denied by PFF. I'm starting to wonder if everything actually works out in the end or not. Eh, forget that. I'm an optimist and I'll stay one.
I'm tired. It's time for me to stop posting about random things and take a shower then go to bed.
PS My Wisconsin accent (that has impaired my spelling for so long) caused me to say "pugnent" tonight when I obviously meant pungent. I even made a follow up claim with pungent used as a synonym. What the hell?
