Why does every one of my remaining summer assignements mean I'll be sitting hours on end in front of the computer? I just spent about 4h with one of them and only got the groundwork done. Color me surprised but I'm still up. I was sure I'd be in bed by 10pm as I could hardly keep my eyes open when it was around 8-9pm. Somehow the time just got away from me.... It's wet and foggy out so you can hardly see the fireworks. You can hear them allright though.

Had both sisters and the nieces here to bake gingerbread cookies for Christmas, our Independance Day tradition, heh. This is the 2nd year I also made the dough as mom is not up to that sort of stuff any more. Happy New Year f-listies! Hope everyone had a great time transting from 2010 to 2011. I welcomed the new year in at my friends place and walked home around 1.30am in a snowfall. It was quiet and serene, a pretty good way to end the past year.

Darn, one of my imagehosting services seem to be totally down as none of the pics there show up and I can't get to the homepage either. I hope it's only temporary. They have been pretty reliable so far and have several servers too so not being able to get through at all is kinda worrysome.
