Rhys waited until Gwen and the stranger disappeared around the corner then followed them towards the Plass.
Just as Rhys entered the wide open space the storm that had been threatening all day finally broke with a loud clap of thunder and an almost torrential curtain of rain fell from the heavens instantly soaking him to the skin, doing nothing to improve his mood or patience.
He quickened his pace, intent on confronting his girlfriend.
He gained on them as they headed towards the millennium centre, but the water tower momentarily blocked them from view and somehow, Rhys lost them.
