This is not what he had wanted to wake up to.
Irvine's head felt all woozy coming out of his sleep hearing the sound of waves crashing upon Garden. He looked around and saw that he was in the Garden. Then fell back asleep.
Then he realized, he wasn't on Galbadia Garden. It was Balamb. He jumped up looked around and asked himself, "What the hell? Did..." He looked around again and asked, "Did we all go home?" He didn't remember anything of this. A large smile came across his face as he jumped up and yelled, "ALRIGHT! WE'RE HOME!" and laughed joyfully. He began to look around and see no one was around. Something was off.
He yelled out, "Hey Squall! Rinoa! Selphie! Zell! Quistis! ANYBODY!?" Something was wrong...he looked around and saw and heard no one. Was he the one who made it back? Was he the only one left from his world? A sadness came down on him.
