I've been too busy lately doing stuff to blog, and I'm too tired now to blog about all the stuff I've been doing. Reader's Digest version: Work good but busy, Homeboy good but busy, other social stuff good but busy, etc.

felisdemens, bunnygoth will be here for a month. You are both darkly brilliant, snarktastic, and goth non-poseurs. Also, you both sport fabulously-tinted frequently-transformed tresses that make me remember when I had the guts to do shit like that.

I had a great weekend last weekend, and a rough week since (recovering from the weekend, and then fighting off a cold-type bug). No way I'm catching up with everyone.

I'm OK, just tired and hunkering down. I don't want to actually come down with whatever it is that I'm fighting.

...to do some canoeing and tubing this weekend with a group. Given how hectic my life has been lately, I'm probably going to pay big for this, but it has been too long since I've been on a river with a canoe or tube. Been very busy for a week, mostly in a good way. My pants are hopelessly bankrupt.

I know that moving to Florida was necessary for my health. I'm grateful for the healthy relationship that has been growing between my parents and me. Time to drag my sorry ass to work. I'm out of sick days.

I forgot to mention that I had breakfast yesterday with groveperson, her husband, and their adorable son, while they were in town for a family wedding. It was wonderful to see them, and the kid is just too cute. My back has been improving, but I managed to stub my little right toe against some furniture early this week, and I'm fairly sure it was broken. It's still purple, though the swelling is pretty much gone. It doesn't hurt as much as it did when I first stubbed it ( Read more... )
