I have been a bit busy lately, but busy in a good way... beach, rides, going out for lunch et cetera - so yeah I had good times, starting the summer off right...hmmmmm though technically it's still spring. Went to Coney Island went on a ride that was amazing - being launched 300 feet in the air upside down really makes you come alive! Been walking on the boardwalk, went to the beach was surprised because the water was pretty clean for NY. I'm going out to New Jersey next week for some more beach time (cleaner waters) and night fireworks. For some reason I'm enjoying New York, I'm rediscovering the many cultures here and attractions and appreciating them. Maybe I am slowly turning into an optimist after being a pessimist for a long time. Ahhh perhaps next I will go out and hug and tree and perhaps French kiss it too ;) Pride kicked off in Staten Island last week (missed it), but there's like a thousand various Pride events in NYC in June (LGBT Pride month for those who don't know). So I'll be going to a few of the small ones and the big one (of cause) in Manhattan.

I recently saw a documentary on Bobby Fischer which peeked my interest in learning more about his life. I'm a newbie in regard to learning about Fischer but his life, obvious psychosis, his genius in relation to chess, his relationship with his family or lack thereof and his (in later years) anti-American and anti-Jewish opinions fascinate me. Someone, not too long ago, told me if parents could see what emotional damage they do to their children with a non-dysfunctional mindset half of the people on this Earth would have never been born - so true!
