Took a longer than it should have thanks to Pokemon, but I finished the water transfers last night. That's it for the Ultramarines; it should be a long time before I pick up another 40k miniature to paint. I guess that means I am free to turn my attention towards other pursuits now.

Finished off the first of two Tactical Squads. This means I just have 11 more miniatures to go before I'm done painting Space Marines! I'll need to see about getting decals on them after that but I am praying it goes smoothly. Finished the Devastator squad and did a little work on the bases for my Captain and Chaplin. Somewhat underwhelmed by how the Captain looks, but the Chaplin still holds up fairly well.

Only 22 marines left, and then some work with the decals.

Finished off the scouts and Telion. I was having a dilemma about how to make cloaks for these guys, Telion already had one but I needed the other scouts in them for a game mechanic. Ended up soaking pieces of paper in diluted white glue, laying the on the figures and then letting it dry. Did they come out good? You can be the judge, but it sure ( Read more... )
