major step forwards
I am finally starting to get things in order for the Spawn to arrive. I bought a second-hand changing table off the Marketplace on Facebook in the range that I want anyway, and got a bunch of other second hand stuff like bedding, and we picked it up last night. So now it is stood in the dining room taking up space and blocking my way to the bookcase :-P. And yesterday I also won an ebay auction for a moses basket (same range!) for half the original cost of the basket, but this one comes with a stand as well, and now I just have to arrange to pick it up. **EDIT** Collected and now balanced on top of the changing table. I'll have to give it a good clean as the previous owners had animals, but at least none of the sellers have been smokers!
Now I just have to get the builder round to widen the loft hatch so that we can clear the crap out of the soon-to-be nursery and redecorate it. And then we can move in the new furniture and I can get to my books again :-)
