I had to wait for two whole hours at the Bürgeramt in Wedding, my old neighborhood, in order to complete a transaction that took all of two minutes. It is really useless trying to read a book in your fourth language (German) which consists largely of discussion of quotations in two languages you don't read at all (Latin and Greek).

Especially if you would rather just be streaming House episodes online.
