The Scheiler Saga: The Missing Years - Chapter 1. (Bonus update.)
The Scheiler Uglacy is scheduled to continue on to Generation 4 in November, with sammyfrog and MK'la taking over the direction. However I'm getting weirdly attached to this awful family, so I felt sad leaving them. But TigerAnne, you have FOUR other legacies, and... Anywhoo, I figured that it's not like nothing at all is going to happen in Arenaseca while Blaze struggles with raising the next heir on Isla Tropicana. So, this is the story of those years, where a lot of things changed for everyone, as Friday worked on setting up his Happy Community and waiting for the Return of the Heir. Narrator is just finishing a peanut butter and jam sandwich, and then she'll be narrating.
Reading this shouldn't be necessary to understand the main Uglacy, this is bonus material.
Hi! I'm the Narrator. :D Uh, remember last time, that they tried to start a shop to sell off all their excess fruit? Well, they finally got it functional. Marisa Benditt and that other lady (Chloe, I think) were their first customers.
Moxie: Oh wow I've never done this before I have no clue what I'm doing where is the sell-things button??? D:
Moxie: Just a minute, Marisa. I just gotta see what all the buttons here do.
Friday started jumping rope in the shop to promote sports as a healthy lifestyle. But Morris and raemia's Yvonne were too busy choosing fruit to pay much attention.
Manuel thought Moxie was really hot. She didn't have three bolts with him, like she has with Matias, so I think she should try hooking up with Matias first. When it comes to love, you should never just settle. :(
For a second or two, I thought Raemia's Eve had scared Sasha so much she was going to run away. D: But she was only spazzing out as usual. If you read about the Throttlewoods, you probably remember that Eve beat up Marisol on the beach. I think she came to shop for fruits though, not pick a fight.
Ajax picked a fight with Sebastian, and got his tail handed to him. I wish the wolves would stop pilfering the pets' food dishes at night!
Suddenly... something wasn't quite so right with Butch.
He'd had a heatstroke, and fainted so hard he'd rammed his head through the wall. And in Spain they build with bricks.
Tippy: At least his eyes are inside the wall, so he can't see me bathing.
Yeah, I only got a crappy picture because it was kinda inside the tree, but this is Paloma's Gold farmer medal. :D
Hooray! They chose a money reward. Usually I would have picked something cool, like getting influence on people, but they were only doing this for money. Friday was really eager to buy the compound he was going to make his home.
Ponytail Lady wrote them a good review, even.
Oh, and this is not Alberto, the parrot Carlos got for his birthday. Alberto disappeared with no trace. This is Breezy. She's the same breed of bird, because they're really pretty.
Now the update is getting offensive, he he he! >:)

Now it's 1-1. I kind of get the feeling that Sebastian and Ajax don't like each other much. And Nernia just stood there the whole time. I didn't see her until the dust cloud cleared. O.o
Remember Nettie? Butch's three-bolter? Who I stole from Tameron?
Moxie: Seriously, bro. Nettie's not that hot.
Butch: Nettie... [blah blah romantic speech] Will you marry me?
Awww, she did! Nernia, stop photobombing. This moment isn't about you!
Hopefully they're rich enough to buy that compound now. :)
Friday came home, discovered that his youngest runt had gotten married, and took that as a sign. A big yellow taxi came and took them all away.
BTW, that road maintenance car that makes a lot of weird noise, and is a bit slow to realize that it's Friday evening, is back outside our house. o.O
Studs coped with the departure of half his family by gardening. This was the first time since Friday was born, that they lived in different houses. His kids were going to miss their cousins. :(
Fortunately, they were still living right down the road - not across both the ocean and the USA, in California.
You'll see pictures of the house later, but they could really only afford to build half of it, so I didn't take pictures of how it looked then.
Peter and his mother were in the Welcome Wagon. Moxie really wants a pet or five. I hope she can adopt Tiffany, because they've known each other since Moxie was a kid. :D
Dora: Vengeful Ghosts are everywhere! Even if they're not the ghosts of old foes departed, the memories of wrongful acts are saved to file in the ether. D:
Butch couldn't help noticing how this crazy old woman looked a lot like his Mom. Tippy is only related to Samantha in this story, she's her sister. She's not related to Peter. (Yeah, he's the biological father of her Sim, but in the STORY they're not meant to be.)
Actually, I can explain why Tippy and Dora look alike. See, Samanta (Tippy's sister) married a man (Peter) who looked a whole lot like their own father (not named Peter). So they also had a grandmother who looked a lot like Dora. They say you're attracted to people who resemble your opposite-sex parent, but not me. I like them with hair on their heads, thank you very much.
Moxie: Remember when you taught us how to do homework, Dad?
Friday: That was such good times. :')
Moxie: And now you'll get to teach your grandchildren, soon!
The whole family skilled really hard, every day. Tippy even maxed out her Creativity skill, which was a requirement for becoming a famous chef. (I still don't get how Morris managed it just by keeping winning at scrabble.)
Aww no! Ten-point cooks burn the food more, because game bugs. But it didn't really look burned, so Tippy decided to serve it and hoped nobody noticed. It was the first time she made that food, so none of them knew exactly what it was supposed to taste like anyway.
Then Friday maxed his Athletic skill. :)
Moxie was really nice about welcoming Nettie to the family. She missed her little sister in California (and maybe Blaze, a little) and her BFF cousins she had always lived with. Having Nettie around was almost like having a sister again. They even looked a bit alike. I mean, they don't really look like each other at all, but they're sort of... similar? o.O
Caitlin still called Butch now and then, to hear if he was happy and doing well. It was important that Nettie didn't find out about Caitlin having been his GF, because Nettie was messed up from her parents putting her in the attick for being ugly, and Caitlin is a very pretty girl.
Nettie's in the slacker career, but her LTW is to have 20 lovers, so that's not going to happen. Like hello, EA? I'm not a prude, but I think that LTW is wayyy worse than the Insane trait and Bro. Betraying 20 people's feelings, and making them think you LOVE them when they're only collectables, is not okay!
I'm so proud of this family. They're super talented! :D I hope Liranda knows, so she can be proud and happy too!
Moxie had to see her three-bolter, Matias, again. This time, the chemistry was too strong for either of them to resist Cupid's little poisonous injections. I think he puts a tiny syringe full of Love Potion on the tip of his arrows.
Since their love was real, they decided to get married. They did it under the cover of darkness, because Friday had certain opinions on attractive people joining the Community, but he could never be angry with his daughter for following her heart.
He could probably be angry with Matias, though. Especially when he found out what his job was.
This was the stash in Matias' inventory. They sold everything except the remote-controlled car, which they all loved from first sight. Matias also had a bit of money, so his inclusion helped the Community not be so poor. :)
YAY! It was a little sad that this wasn't her LTW, but she was very close to Perma Plat from a happy life anyway.
Oh LOL, and Matias' LTW is to become a celebrity chef! x)
Friday felt very depressed that his daughter had married a man who was the man he had always wanted to be. The sadness strengthened his art, and he maxed out his Creativity.
Over at the Orchard, Breezy ded.
Studs: Oh Breezy, we hardly even knew you! Why do none of our birds live more than two days?
Yeah, they don't really need those dumb birds. Cats are much better pets. <3
OK, the Transmission Directive says that we need to have cat pictures now. Just to remind you who is who, this is Sasha. She's light brown with a white-ish underside.
Silver is the grey one.
And Nernia is the darkest brown.
They only have one dog though, and that's Sebastian. Maybe they should have one more, some time.

Studs found a new way to get rid of all the fruit. They gave lots of it to people they knew. He works with Mullet Man Miguel. thrior's Brett works with Carlos.
Carlos: Why do I have to go in Dad's carpool? It won't exactly be secret that I'm an agent if I ride around in a cop car.
BTW, this is Lilo as a human. I can't remember what her name is, but she isn't actually Lilo.

They got a new bird, to see if they could make one last longer by taking good care of it. Spoiler: No. His name was Pitbull, BTW. Didn't help much.
They still have Pingo, though. Butch forgot to take him along to the new house, so he's not getting him back now.
Now both Marisol and Tippy have topped their careers! :D I hope they'll come home from work with each other, so they don't become estranged like their husbands.
Marisol started talking about how she hoped her children would get engaged and make grandchildren. I'm so glad JB is already married.
BTW, that girl is Juanita. I'll find a better picture of her, one sec...

Sasha curled up in the thorny rosebush to sleep, and dreamt about how badass she was. Oh yeah, and the globe thing I tried hiding under the sunflowers doesn't seem to work. :( I want tropical pink skies for sunset pics!

Matias didn't have a very good upbringing, so he didn't understand that talking about having sex with your girlfriend to another girl you have the hots for (He's got the hots for Nettie. x.x) isn't very cool for your girlfriend.
Nettie has a sort of deformed lower jaw, so she's got a second set of teeth and gums below her visible ones. Sometimes they cause lots of grief.
Butch's first LTW was to top the Gamer Career. I'm not going to show you all the promotions he got, okay? It was pretty much every day, because he already had most of the skill points he needed, since he's a frickin geek.
Trash Talker? So he sits on like SimSecret all day, or something? Or he's got a Tumblr where he hatefollows people? Is there a WoW Secrets site? I bet there is one for Second Life, though. That game is worse for drama than the Sims 4 community!
Tippy: You're my daughter now. Let me give you a motherly hug!
Nettie: WTH WTH NO! D:<
Nettie: Being pressured or emotionally manipulated into hugging someone, is a violation of a person's free will and physical autonomy!
Tippy: But Nettie, I care about you! I know your parents weren't the hugging kind, but...
Nettie: Hugging children is to teach them that they don't own their own bodies, so they end up getting pregnant at 13! Not hugging me was the only thing my parents did right!
(Nettie's one of Tameron's Sims gender-flipped, remember. All her characters have backstories like that.)
Nettie: You sent off two of your children to live in a home where a family friend is known to HUG everybody! How can you live with yourself, woman?
Tippy: You have hurt my Motherly heart! I am very disappointed in your behaviour. Now I'm going to flick on your niceness-switch. *boop*
Nettie: What do you think I'm like five? My dad couldn't turn on that switch with his big spiky nunchucks.
Tippy: AND I GET VERY ANGRY WHEN MY KIDS LIE TO ME TO GET ATTENTION!
My Mom does too.
AND THEN... Oh no, this is exactly like last time. D: But at least Friday knew from experience that he should trust his own conviction. HERBZ 4EVAR!

OK, this was a couple of days later. He became Superstar first, but there are so many texts that I'm going to have to skip some of them. I'll just show you the important ones, okay? But yay, Friday is moving up!
This is why there aren't many pictures from this point in time. All they did all day was skill and study, and it makes for very boring story-telling, with no action, drama or time-travel.
Moxie got back into the Music career too. :D
Sofia: OH WOW! You're Matias Alvarado, aren't you!?!?!?
Matias: Uhh yes.
Sofia: I can't believe it! You're famous, so what are you doing in this dump of a town?
See, Matias was raised explisitly to become a famous athlete at a young age. His father was a famous coach, and he basically gave Matias to some other, even more famous, coaches to raise because of his talent. From he was 10, his whole life concisted only of winning the next game. Because he was really talented, he became a top player as a teenager. And because he was cute, he became a popular sex-symbol. Then he was retired when he was 25, because he had peaked, and another wonder-child had been trained to fill his shoes.
Moxie didn't know any of this before they got married, because Matias wanted to know that she wanted him for his personality. (Yeah, she somehow didn't know he was famous.) So Matias may have had one of the things Friday had always wanted, but he never had a normal, loving family before. OK, scratch normal. You know what I meant. And all through this, he really wanted to become a chef.

Tippy: Pfff ha ha ha, he's a Servo. x)
Nettie opposed Tippy's authority as mother every day, all day long. It was almost like Liranda and Bertha Hortence.
Now it had escalated to physical violence among the trees.
Tippy was stronger than Nettie, but Nettie vowed to get in shape.
Being so angry and hot in the head all the time, made Nettie very vulnerable to heatstroke. She only managed to get out of bed in the morning, then she passed right out on the carpet.
Then she woke up and shambled out to the bathroom, and fainted a little there too. Yeah, they need to have those doors on the bathrooms, so the whole family doesn't cram in and get stuck.
While his wife lay unconscious nearby, Butch was getting friendly with raemia's June.
A guy they hardly know called, to inform them that he was cool.
LOL yeah. He was powering through his career levels pretty good! :D
Meanwhile, his mother was powering his wife around among the walls. :C
Nettie tried to build stamina, so she'd be harder to beat up.
Instead she kept knocking herself unconscious, so Tippy was spared the effort.
Raemia's Georgia almost vomited in their living room. I don't know if it was something she ate, or that she didn't like someone's face.
Yoohoooo! This is the second to final level!
I really hope Tiffany's going to wanna move in with them. She doesn't visit that often. :( I could cheat her in, but I want it to happen of her own will.
Then Moxie had to go inside and revive her mother. Tippy couldn't just let Nettie get fit, without keeping up herself.
Oh, and Matias didn't get lots of Aspiration from watching them fight. (He's chemical with both of them, JFYI.) It was because he had 10 best friends. He was talking to someone on the phone, although I don't know how he could hear what they were saying.
Nettie had the upper hand for a while. She really enjoyed that.
I aged up Chandler Platz, because I was tired of him as a kid. He's Nettie's friend, but he's a right douchebag to Friday. Then something weird happened..!
Friday: Look! Chandler's real face has been revealed. He broke the glamour spell when he showed his ugly side! It would appear that he's a Gnome!
Friday was working hard on himself, to put aside his envy of Matias' success, and try to be the father-figure the young man had always needed.
Herp derp. Chance card. Nettie wanted cash, because she's not patient around money.
Yeah, she got promoted to Web Designer. I'm not going to show you the text for the job description, because boring.
Then she had to eat a lime for supper, because Tippy was very mad at her and wouldn't give her quality leftovers.
Raemia's June started being friendly towards Nettie, so she wouldn't beat her up for being friends with her husband.
Everyone was really tired of summer. This happened like three times a day with different people.
Marisol came for a visit, to see if there was a good reason why they all had forgotten about her husband's existance. Studs felt very disappointed and let down.
OK I know chance cards are suck, but this one is kind of important. See, Moxie would never just walk out on something she believed in, to help someone who'll do just fine without her. So she went to play with Gato's Fury, because angry cats FTW!
This is soooo cool! :D I wish there were talented bands like that around in the real world too! Why wasn't I born in the 70s, so I could have been in college in the 90s and gotten into the grunge scene? :'( I'll never get over it!
Anyway, Moxie was doing really well in her career. :D
I think she was very happy she could stop wearing this stupid outfit with fake tattoo and all. The only good thing about it, was that it made her look more hourglass, since she's pretty much a stick.
Nettie: She maried a troll lolololol!
Friday: You mustn't make fun of that, my daughter! It was an act of pure love and selflessness. (Um wow, that word looks weird in writing.)
Matias was made with another Sim as a base. Can you guess? I'll make it easier, he's not been gender-switched.
And then... there was more fight.
