Dream Theater's Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence is one of my favorite's rock albums. just watched their performance of the album with the Octavarium orchestra on youtube. it was sooo gay! *broken hearted* and the quality is a lot less than the record.

John Coltrane's "A Love Supreme" at Trinity Church wasn't nearly as good as i expected. yes, the church looks great after renovation but it's no good place for music. lots of echo, very hard to hear the different voices, and very bad view. the performance was only slightly over 1/2 hr long. there was no connection between the reading and the music ( Read more... )

i had a break from doing... nothing at work today attending the ground breaking ceremony for a project i'm working on. the ceremony itself made me really sad, since of all of the speakers including the mayor, the director of the BRA, the manager of the MBTA etc... they just thanked each other ie the developer and 'the government'. nobody mentioned ( Read more... )
