Stompin' At Decca

I just got new music by Django Reinheirdt, Patsy Cline, The Everly Brothers, and Cheap Trick. Bands I've always been curious about, but never gotten till now. With our super-speed comcast, me and Aaron have been downloading half of the internet in the past few days. The conversation goes something like this.
---
Ian: I have torrented Casablanca!
Aaron: I have always wanted to see Casablanca!
Ian: You may flash-drive it to your computer if you'd like...or maybe just torrent it yourself.
Aaron: How long did it take you download?
Ian: 13 minutes...
Aaron: Yes, that's probably faster.

Today I managed to leave my keys in the apartment when I went to class. I spent an hour or so sitting outside my door minding my own business waiting for Aaron to get back, since I got voicemail and my buildings super was out to lunch. Suddenly I realized that my brand new queen bed was due to be delivered in 20 minutes. Without the ability to let them in, I would be stuck moving it myself, plus having to dispose of my current bed without their aid. I freaked out for a few minutes, but Aaron showed up just in time. I am now laying on my brand new Sealy queen bed. It is the most comfortable thing I have ever lain in.

I'm not a big punk fan, but the Blink-182 concert was just... there are no words, just emotions. They were a huge influence on me when I was 11 and thought their dirty lyriced simple fast paced songs were the coolest thing on earth. Getting to see them now was worth the decade wait. It rained all last night, and all I had on was a t-shirt and hat. Me and my group (composed of some old friends from home) stood in the rain for 5 hours watching them play. It was worth it. The lawn was covered in crazy people of all sorts. All of them wet, partially clothed, dancing their asses off, sliding down the muddy wet hills, smoking weed, drinking booze, and screaming along with every single song. I love concerts. I didn't get in till 3AM, and barely managed to hang my wet clothes up in the bathroom before passing out.

It was a good day.
