Actually I have a fair amount of hope about this week despite a frustrating weekend of failing to make decent spaghetti sauce. It's very soupy. I used the wrong tomatoes. Oh well, chalk it up to a learning experience and pack it full of meat. At least, that's my plan for it ( Read more... )

Today's lunch is salt free matzo with salt & sugar free peanut butter. And truly ridiculous amount of water to wash it down because that is just slightly more dry than it sounds. So last night the exercise bike that bardicstorm ordered came in and was a lot better than we'd imagined. It's a Schwinn so it's actually a real exercise bike by a real company and not something that's going to fall apart the second time we use it. Thrilled! First: Yay Red Sox! However, both bardicstorm and I can now agree that sweeps are ugly and we feel sorry for Rockies fans. Poor Rockies - they just got blindsided by the Sox.
