This week has been one huge rollercoaster of emotion for me. I was so proud of myself earlier this week for sticking so strictly to the doctor imposed diet. Today's lunch is salt free matzo with salt & sugar free peanut butter. And truly ridiculous amount of water to wash it down because that is just slightly more dry than it sounds. Just got home from seeing my doctors and boy were they a bunch of wet blankets. I'm now facing three weeks of no salt, no dairy, no chocolate prior to being dosed with radioactive iodine and being locked, isolated, in my room for two days ( Read more... )

I'm really hating this recovery time. I know this was major surgery. I know that my body is adjusting to new drugs and missing parts. I know that I need to give myself time.

I'm done being sick - just DONE with it. I want my throat to stop hurting and I want it to stop now. *sulk* *whine* *bitch* *moan* *complain*

I went back to work yesterday and was completely wiped by the time I even got there. It was lovely to see people and then it was time to go home and hit the couch for the rest of the day. So I'm home again today - supposedly gathering my resources and resting/relaxing ( Read more... )
