It is called the David Gemmell Legend award, and the first round of voting is open right now, to all comers. All you have to do is go to this site, read about the award, and then follow the link that says "Cast your vote HERE!" to, you guessed it, cast your vote!
Of course, if you see another book you read this year that you thought was better than Havemercy (D:), we do not want to influence your decision in this process. However, this is a pretty cool award, and it is pretty cool that Havemercy is up for it. Please do your part for the Fantasy community (remember that spirit of togetherness and goodwill?) by casting your vote however you decide. If you vote for our favorite book about gay magicians and metal dragons, all the better!
