The long and the short of it - writing again.

I've two new poems up: "Among the Angelic Orders" at Mirror Dance and "Artemis Speaks to Aphrodite" at Ideomancer; I am very pleased with both.

Recently come to light, of which I am quite pleased:

• "The Education of Martian Youth", a flash fiction extract and the first of my "Teaching on Mars" series to see print, is live at Eggplant Literary Production's Miscellanea: the Transdimensional Library

The Futurdaze: An Anthology of YA Science Fiction book trailer went live this week. I am very excited about this project, particularly since I can bring it into my classroom and spread it widely among my educator colleagues. My poem "Speech Lessons", about an alien receiving speech-language therapy, will appear. Available February 2013.

We have returned from New Orleans. Demeter's Spicebox is a Cabinet des Fees's  micro-publication that focuses on hybridising lesser known folk and fairy-tale types. These tales are connected to each other, thus creating the basis for the hypertext fairytale project. Starting to feel better after a day of rest.  Also, just received word that "Truants", the second poem in my Teaching on Mars series, has sold to The Martian Wave for their 2013 issue!  Being able to put teaching and writing together really helps balance my worlds.
