The community nature of the thing- the support within the community is incredible. When Brun (of Moonie and Broon) got injured during performance the community realized that there was a need for medical money for uninsured faire workers for when they had accidents on the job. Dubious about not going too Disney please, will the scum really be scum? If Faggin's den is a preschool playground... still, it looks interesting. Kinda want to see. Wonder if I can stop by in scum costume. :)

Sadness for missing various events and parties (esp. eviladmin's because it was also Greg's birthday. At least I got to give him a squeeze at Dickens. Lots of birthdays going on around now. Was surprisingly restful. I was exhausted on saturday until nightfall, then inexplicably full of energy again (friday I felt like I was all out). I fixed some necks and shoulders a bit , saw good peoples, and deflected various advances (all nice ones, just not for me). The last weekend of Faire, and it was WONDERFUL!!! Yay. It's hard to compare faires and say this was the best- so much of faire being wonderful as a teenager was the newness of it. But I can say it was my best as an adult. Hands down.

I was EXPLODING with happiness all day.
