177. 12/26/2023 Atlanta, biking, reading
Here in Atlanta the weathers been good enough to bike and I have been. EJ not into the biking part but we got Katelyn a bike and he’s been coming with me mornings. We ride out along what’s called the Beltway rail trail. A section of it is ¼ mile from us. If just me, I do Piedmont down to 10th and back whats good 12 miles
Weather is still mid 60’s down to mid 50 at times for a while yet. Little rain and show wise it can snow but it’s rare. Snow here is like putting a zillion cars in a lake and telling them to go straight to the other side at 60 mph. Total disaster.
EJ and I decided way back not to get each other gifts. Not much either of us need and I’m not into having a lot of things including clothes. The less I have, ya, works for me and other than some clothes the only things I own. Two chromebooks, total 900 bucks. Two bikes, total 1400 bucks. One of them was 800 us. One clock radio alarm, a small TV, a cell phone and a partridge in a pear tree LOL. Okay no partridge and no pare three lol, otherwise that’s it. I’m happy. My Jeep belongs to my mom so that's not mine ownership wise.
We got Katelyn something for Christmas but ya, my mom overloaded him again this year.
Looked at another condo. Nice one but again, you get that feeling what there not all the into black people owning a condo let alone living there. Still she was nice unlike the last lady. Another was okay but the lady turned us both right off and the other was in a HOA that had more rules and things not allowed that either of us wanted to get involved with.
We have time and EJ wants to be sure it’s what we want and not just something to move. I’m okay with that. Not sure how to read Katelyn. He seems lost without Brock, other times he’s fine. He likes being with my mom, she spoils him so bad and he knows it lol.
Reading The History of Homosexualty and in a lot of countries or Nations and in some places it is still practiced. Just started reading it but it seems like same sex sex been going on from the beginning of time but for different reasons. Not all of them for the sex. It’s a good book and one worth reading if you can find Wasn’t expensive, under 10 US
All the books I ordered and read all of them but for 120 Days of Sodom. Have a few more pages of that then the History of Homosexualy. I started it, maybe a 100 pages, it’s a 500 page book. After this one I’ll be on the hunt for more lol. Sota lost interest in the Nook as far as these last few, they were not on it so they were all actually books. I have trouble reading some of them. I understood the “plot but some words fit and I was able to get them, others I had to look up and at that, ya some still made no sense. I did get to read two gay books that were translated to English from Czech. There were okay, few words or more so word combinations/phases didn’t fit right but otherwise they were okay. I tried to translate one but that didn’t work at all. You need some understanding of the language you're translating to for it to work.
