176. 12/15/2023 Atlanta again

We’re headed back to Atlanta Saturday for a couple months, Train again but this time going to have a couple good size suitcases with us so we had to book space in the baggage car. It’s still easier than driving, that takes 3 days no matter how you look at it.
My dad got us a car to use over thanksgiving. His brother owns a couple Jeep dodge dealerships so we get x rentals cars like a Grand Cherokee for free..
EJ has to be back in CT soon after the holidays so he’ll fly back then drive back down so we’ll have a car and not have to borrow one seeing what we’ll be there till the end of Jan anyway.
We are staying with my parents again, we were going to get a rental but they wanted us there. Not sure I ever told this but they knew EJ before I met him. He stayed with them on and off thru the last couple years of high school. Long story and not going into it. EJ is also two yrs older what I am.
We did look at a couple condos, one we walked out on the lady. A total white privilege racist cunt. I promised EJ I’d be a good boy but damn, I wanted to smash her so bad. (Smash as in verbally not physically.)
The other one was nice but only two bedrooms and what I’ll call a “hallway kitchen”. Did have a garage lol. We have time and besides EJ wants to get something he wants and not something just to move there.. We already have financing so we can take the time to get what he wants.
I’m taking my good bike to Atlanta on the train, I had to book a spot for it and had to buy a bike shipping box and of course from Amtrak not that it was expensive. I did it once before, like 4 years back but that was from Atlanta to CT. Sixty six US to ship it.
I’m okay for now but if I stay here for any length of time, I definitely have to find something to do. Me and nothing to do is not one of my better traits.
