175. 12/10/2023 Thanksgiving and stuff
So we spent close to three weeks over thanksgiving in Atlanta then and back in CT only cause I had two doctors appointments and EJ had a face to face meeting with a couple people plus his boss. He’s pretty sure he’s all set to work from home even if we live in Atlanta with maybe a face to face meeting once a month with his staff. Like flying up to RI. Their office is but a couple miles from the airport, stay overnight and fly back.
Thanksgiving was okay with a lot of food with a lot of leftovers what got thrown away two days later cause no one wanted leftovers after the second day lol. .
We’re headed back to Atlanta on the Sunday the Saturday for a couple months. Well Jan anyway. Train again but this time going to have a couple good size suitcases with us so had to book space in the baggage car. It’s still easier than driving, that takes 3 days no matter how you look at it.
My dad got us a car to use over thanksgiving. His brother owns a couple Jeep dodge dealerships so we get x rentals cars like a Grand Cherokee for free..
EJ has to be back in CT soon after the holidays so he’ll fly back then drive back down so we’ll have a car and not have to borrow one seeing what we’ll be there for a month into 2024.
