I wanted to test out my travel video setup from start to finish, using my laptop to do the editing. So I grabbed my gorrillapod and jammed the feet into my bike helmet's air vents, and off I rode to the park near my place. Music by John Lennon, performed by Kristin Hersh.

This is a stirring performance of "Your Dirty Answer." Though she starts out very shaky (seems very common for her to start her songs shaky these days, due to 20 years of screaming no doubt). It really gets moving at about 1:45 and by 3:00 or so I was getting goosebumps. The McCarricks play strings with her, but no drum or bass in this show.

This looks great!

Wow I didn't know about this new video from Hersh's new solo album, "Learn to Sing Like a Star." This is really interesting work to me and I plan to get the album. It sounds like she has the string siblings playing, and is that Narcizo on drums? Wow.
