Today I spent about 14 hours (including the bus ride) working on a shoot for a Twin Peaks fan film. We went up to Paulsbo to do a couple interior scenes in the Great Northern. I'm playing Doc Hayward.

It's my fault for juxtaposing things without explanation... I am in NYC. My art was showing at Esozone, an event held last weekend in Portland, not NY.

The bugs weren't out on parade last time I was in Arkansas. Cicadas and june-bugs and things that look like leaves, oh my! This is amazing, and I've never heard such a ruckus.

Also? It's really, really hot and humid here.

By the way, agaperos77, I have a sample recording of loud, rhythmic hive communication for you to play with.

These are the final photos that I'll post from Paris before moving on to Germany. We visited the historical home of 14th century alchemist Nicolas Flamel, which has been turned into a restaurant. Here are photos of the restaurant as well as what we ate there.
