Update time~! Mum and Dad have vanished to house-sit for my grandparents for about a week, So my measuring and the like has been put on hold. It's not helping that I've been scheduled to work on both craft days this month I'm going to have to tell Georgina that those Fridays are off limits till my outfit is done. And Photobucket is being a pain and not uploading quickly despite having broadband. And those Blasted fairies dancing all over the screen and not having a kill button is annoying me. Oh well I guess you're not going to see the clear comparison pic of the Denn'boks... It's the only one that Photobucket won't load.
Final Isil'zha Pictures:
I spent the afternoon gassed out by the epoxy bond that's holding the Pin backing onto the isil'zha. I bought the pin backing from the local fabric and craft shop. And I obviously have a new coat of nailpolish on.
Denn'Bok:
The new Denn'Bok is resting on the old one, but you can't really see the difference. The New Denn'Bok was Constructed using a hot melt glue core in a Aluminium foil housing. The Seed Core was also Hot melt glue re-inforced with paddlepop sticks. The Aluminium was then covered in duct tape to smooth out the wrinkly foil. A coat of Silver paint will be added later after the duct tape is painted with a medium to allow easy paint adhereance.
The new Denn'Bok is as think and long as it should be and as about as accurate as it can be without being finished. I hope to start on the actual clothing part soon.
