Comcast = grr!
Suckage. The internet has gone down 3 times in 2 days. Each time I’ve managed to get it back up again by power-cycling the modem and the router. This morning, nothing would work. I plugged the modem directly into my computer and it worked. Ok, so it’s the router. The thing is almost 7 years old. So I hooked up a new router. Took a bit, but finally got internet back, yay!
Flash forward 1.5 hours later - internet down AGAIN! Ok, so maybe it wasn’t the router. Grr. Called Comcast, they say nothing is going on in the area, and they can send a tech out. Earliest is tomorrow at 11am. Lovely. So I’m now hunkered down at the shop since I may have to make a few phone calls and I can’t do that in the library.
Major suckage.
I’m going to look at getting DSL again. We didn’t have any problems with them in the 5 years we had them. So we’ll see.
