Saw Franz Ferdinand performing at the open air stage in Stanley Park yesterday evening. It was raining, but it was a great concert. I shall definitely be looking up their music more now. They had a great section when all five of them were playing the set of drums and they made some great beats. You could really feel it getting under your skin ( Read more... )

So last night I went out with a little group of people to a fancy dress Mardi Gras party. It's not something I've been to before an it turned out to be a lot of fun, there was food, drink and music to dance to as well as a couple of demonstration dances which were amazing!
