Disappointments abound. [VOICE]

[As always, the post from Darwin is voice only - absolutely no video at all. The sound of the ocean can be heard in the background. He's probably either on the beach or up on one of the near rocky outcroppings overlooking the water.]

...Well, if you need anything, you can always talk to me. It's fine.

[ Locked ]

To be honest, I am afraid to go home. I fear that Isis has already made it worse than it was.

I'd recommend against going through those gates right now, that's for sure. Home was... It turned into some sort of sci-fi horror movie. It was worse than anything Leonard Saber could have ever managed.

...I am...sorry.

[ And he really is. He's still getting used to that whole rainbow range of feeling that's been let out in Nautilus.
Strikes are muttered and you can hear them if you listen REALLY HARD ]

Ah, well...I do not think Isis could have made it much worse than it already was...my home was falling apart anyway.

Also, I was killed before that all happened, so it...doesn't really affect me now...

[You are talking to an animal with better than human hearing, Monday. Sooo...]

Wait. Run that last bit by me again? Did you just say killed?

...Isis.

I wonder how many worlds she has taken now. I still have... not had the courage to visit my own.

If what I understand about her is right, one world is one too many.

How are you faring, Noon? Getting along here alright?

Yes, everything is fine. My life here is much easier than it was back in my world. Which, ironically, makes it more difficult at times.

To be quite honest, the idea of an impending conflict is quite welcome. It will be good to be doing something worthwhile.

Believe me, I understand that feeling. I don't like sitting idle.

I take it you're going to be sticking by Monday for the most part?

... Darwin... She got your home?

... I'm sorry...

[ She doesn't really know what else she can say about it. ]

Yeah, she did...

So much of it is just... [A heavy sigh.] Cast in glass, now. Everyone I considered family, even the man who raised and trained me. They're all...

... Y-yes. I heard on the network a few days ago... what she can do.

I think that... there must be a way to reverse it. If we fight her, then maybe...

If there isn't, a lot of us are probably stuck here for good.

I... [A sigh. Less self-loathing, Darwin. Come on.] ...have you been alright, Manuela? Do you know if your own reality is still alright...?

It gets a little difficult to find the bright side of things when you discover you're pretty much homeless. I spent so much time trying to get back and when I finally did? ...yeah.

Hey, me too. I went home - all the people I cared about, all cogs in some hell machine. But they're - we're - going to get it back. Trust me on this, things always come out all right. It takes a lot of effort, yeah, and sometimes things get messed up - but we got this.

I can tell, with everyone being all 'fight!'-oriented. When you have this many people, things get done, and they get done well.

I'm used to putting effort into things. I've been trained to handle a number of bad situations. All of this is a little beyond my experience, though. I'm still trying to understand this whole bending thing and how it works, exactly.

I don't think we've talked before, by the way...?

I think helping the rest of you stop her is the only thing I can do, now, especially if I ever want to see home again. I'm just...not sure how to help out. I haven't been here that long and most of my equipment is still MIA.

At this point, there may not be much of a point to hiding my profession from absolutely everyone...

I'm an espionage agent, trained for breaking, entering and information gathering. I do will well in confined spaces, getting in and out without being seen or heard. Generally I've got equipment like night vision goggles, GPS, plasma torches and other tools at my disposal.
