On March 3rd Vertical House Records hosted Ty Segall and a new local fav, Bazooka! (granted, I'm biased since I'm sleeping with...er...and married to the drummer). It was a super fun show, and rumor has it Ty talked up our record store to his booking agency...so fingers crossed for securing more rad bands. Huntsville played it cool one night when Nobunny and The Spits performed at the Voo Doo Lounge. Well, actually it was hot as hell in that bar during the show. It's always fun seeing Nobunny, but it was quite the addition to see The Spits at the same show!

Good grief Life...you are speeding by! Things around here are super busy! We've officially moved our store to the new place (pics coming soon)! Whenever Hurray for the Riff Raff comes to town, they bring with them everything I love about New Orleans. I swear it just seeps from their pores (ew?!) but yeah. While they didn't travel with as many of the band members this time, it still made for a great show. They just released their new album, and it's fantastic.
