Day 10 - Least Favorite Season
Oh, you already know which season I'm going to say.
...
That's right, Season 1 not only the oldest & shortest but also my least favorite season. It just doesn't work the same way the rest of the series does. It consists mostly of one-shot episodes with poor constructed plot and bad special effects. But! I decided to name a few reasons why I like Season 1 anyway.
- It works as a solid base for the awesomeness called Seasons 2 - 7.
- Early Scoobies are just the cutest thing!
- Not only it is cute, it's also funny.
- It has Witch with a body swap, The Pack with evil!Xander (his scenes with Willow actually makes me a bit weepy), I, Robot... You, Jane with awesome!Jenny, Nightmares, which is like (much, much worse) Restless junior, Prophecy Girl with Buffy and her calling and other episodes (Never Kill a Boy on the First Date, Out of Mind, Out of Sight) that I just find kind of cool.
- The worstest of worst comes in Season 2 (Bad Eggs, anyone?).
- My Buffy mood theme wouldn't be the same without it. (Take dorky Buffy, for example.)
- It's Buffy.
