Kidding isn't really the right word, but I don't think he was being serious. Why would you hug random people and tell them you're HIV positive if you actually were? I don't know, it just really seemed like the type of thing that was a demonstration to raise awareness.
As soon as I hit "post" I realized kidding is totally the wrong word. It does seem a little odd that he would do that if it were true, but you never know. He might be HIV+ and trying to raise awareness. I hope he's truly infected.
Hmm. Well I guess it is possible. It's weird that it's somebody I know, because now I kind of want to ask him, but I don't want him to feel uncomfortable.
What you/your prof said about English is so true. I'm an English student, and every time I get a paper back that says B, or B+, or whatever, I have to remind myself that I'm not going to get an A just because I graduated high school English ... Not only is there always room for growth and learning, but it's something that takes constant revision and practice. Good call on that!
I did the same thing with Cameron on our way to Red Square at 1. Quite fun.
Yay for Nathan not being HIV+.
And that whole English thing is true. I know a lot about writing and English and I can do a decent job, but I'd kick myself before proclaiming I know everything. Although I did just get an A- on a paper...
