let's see...what's new...
Pants and I had our 2 year anniversary. He took me to Toronto for the weekend. It was great. He called ahead and told them to put a vase of a dozen red roses in the room before we got there. We stayed at a gorgeous hotel downtown, went shopping, and he took me to dinner at 360, the rotating restaurant at the CN Tower. The food was sooo f-ing good, we got a buzz off some sweet wine, and got the perfect view of the sunset while we were finishing our wine and dessert. After that we went to the hotel and exchanged gifts. He gave me these beautiful earrings that match my white gold, opal, and diamond ring and necklace. He picked out the white gold mountings, but he wanted me to have diamonds on them too, and there was only mounting for the opals, so he had them MAKE a mounting for the diamonds and attach them to the earrings...how sweet is that? I love them. I gave him the money clip and the paintings and he really really liked them. He seemed really happy that I took so much time to make those for him. After that we walked right down the block from our hotel to the Hard Rock Cafe and sat by the bar. Just me, him, and like one other guy were at the bar, but the club upstairs was PACKED. And behind the bar there's plasma TVs all up the wall that show the dance floor upstairs, and we sat there rippin on all the loser drunk guys that looked all nervous and didn't know how to dance. And our bartender was awesome. He was such a funny dude. And he invented me my own drink and called it "the 2 year anniversary". Let me tell you it was soooo good, and got me hammered. He told me what was in it, but I think I'll keep it a secret lol ;) The next day we walked around downtown hungover and shopped more, drank more to ease the hangovers, and went out to eat. Then we headed home.
And finally, I GOT A NEW CAR!!! It's a red '99 Cavalier, 2 door with only 35K miles. It's really cute. I got a good deal on it...only $6100 after tax. For the great condition the car is in, and the low miles, that's a good price.
And I think I'm gonna stop here. Gotta finish my yummy chinese food and I have stuff to do before work :P
