In reference to my reply to
yalsonabout big, pointy American cars I'd just like to mention Alex's little invention to prevent our Oldsmobile's rear making holes in the car cover.
Our car's rear point:
Take two tennis balls and using a knife or scissors cut about a 2 inch slit in each. Place the balls over the cars peaks. At this point you might find the tennis balls are a bit wobbly and not quite secure so here's where I came up with the idea of the pantyhose. Take two pairs of pantyhose (one for each ball). Place top part of pantyhose over the ball and hold tight. Pull on the legs of the pantyhose downwards and tie tightly wherever possible.
Now here's where I laugh. Alex has already gone through two pairs and asked me to get another two pairs of pantyhose for him on my way to the supermarket today. How manly.
