It's not been a particularly good day. Hell, it's not been a particularly good week.

There is jobness! Okay, it is very, very short-term jobness - a 5-8 day stint at an advertising agency, to be precise - but every little helps. Besides, at £13 an hour, who can really complain? I still don't entirely know what the hell they were disputing (though I seem to have put together a tale of woe involving the collapse of Metronet and the strike being pre-emptive action to protect their jobs, pay and pensions, somehow) but apparently they are now reassured and it's over now.
