Artists and authors - poll on schedule
Hey everybody,
we are closing in on final draft submission and the beginning of posting. According to our schedule final drafts should be submitted by Friday October 4th, 12:00 p.m. CET (i.e. midnight from Friday to Saturday), with posting set to start on the following Monday, October 7th and posts every other day (meaning posting would run for a month). The draft submission post will be accompanied by a check-in in which you'll also ask about your preferred posting dates, and more details on how to post will go up with the schedule post that weekend.
Before we get to that, though, we'd like to check in with you and see if that's a schedule we can realistically stick to. Yes, we are already running later than in previous years, but we also started later this round due to organisational problems, and we know several authors were struggling with their drafts for artist claims. We'd like to avoid running too late to not cut too much into possible Secret Santa obligations, but one week of extra time can be the difference between having to drop out after all or managing to finish your fic/art.
Pushing the schedule back a week would affect all dates:
Friday, October 4th -> Friday, October 11th: Final drafts are due. (The posting schedule will be compiled shortly after.)
Monday, October 07 -> Monday, October 14th: Posting begins. (Posting will run for about a month, with posts every other day. You won't need to follow a specific time zone for posting.)
