Walking up nonchalantly to Kambei's side, Dimo nodded a greeting to him. "Nize out today, eh? Goot time for a valk."

Trying his best to keep his coughs at bay, the samurai was quick to shift the conversation over towards the seaman. Kambei was mildly curious to hear what Dimo and the others are up to, especially after meeting Jenka a while ago in Berum. The Jägers must have been bored of Bydan already; this small town is much quieter and less rowdy than the capital.
“Dimo, I trust you have been enjoying your stay here.”

Dimo glanced around at the buildings on either side of the street, smiled a little himself, and nodded, his hands in the pockets of his knee-length brown vest. "I iz glad dot zometing vent right for de ship for vonce," he said, "und iz nize to have a long break und to unvind. Bydan reminds me a little of vhere I grew up. Schtill, it vill be even better to be back up in de air, vith a new job to do."

Paranoid? No, just wiser than the next man…
“Already so anxious to fly again, Dimo?” Kambei asked with a faint chuckle that ended up becoming a few haggard coughs.

"Kambei! You're just in time!" Now Gorobei was running towards his friend, the bag on his back flapping around, but not spilling anything. "You're in for a treat."
Once he caught up to Kambei, he immediately asked, "What's your favorite color?"

“My favorite color?” Kambei raised his eyebrow at Gorobei’s question. “Why do you ask?”

"It's a surprise, Kambei." Gorobei smiled and chuckled lightheartedly. "I promise it's nothing that will be physically taxing."
As he is accustomed to doing, Gorobei threw an arm around Kambei's shoulder and tried to pull the other man along. "Let's get going. We've got to get you some supplies."

Kambei didn’t like the sound of that at all. He was one-hundred and twenty percent sure that this supposed ‘surprise’ that Gorobei has for him is all apart of some intricate ruse. How could it not be considering that his fellow samurai has such a fondness for jokes? Kambei knew it was wrong of him to think of Gorobei’s jovial nature as something slightly wicked and impish, but there is some truth to that logic.
“Supplies?” He asked as he glanced at the all too happy Katayama with a vaguely exasperated stare. Just what is this man planning? “Supplies for what? Gorobei, I do not think we need anymore supplies for the ship.”

The Jäger was very tempted to cause some trouble now that they were docked, but the whole crew was still supposed to be on their best behavior. So, once again, she was sitting on a wall near a busy street and watching the crowd, hoping for something interesting to happen. She may have agreed not to start any disturbances, but she was certainly going to jump in if she saw one. Unfortunately, Bydan was a boring town. The samurai walking down the street was the most interesting person she'd seen in the last half hour.
"Kambei." She half-smiled, raising her hand in greeting.
