7/24/2008Up at 0400 this morning in the hope of being the first group to the checkpoint. We slept OK, although i was pretty congested from inhaling several pounds of trail dust. That might have been a bit of blessing though. It rained in the night which seemed to activate all of the dried piss in the ground. The place smelled awful... Anyways, most ( Read more... )

7/19/2008Today we headed out to the airport for our flight around noon to Cusco. We had to do a lot of waiting around for the outfitter lady, but it was generally pretty stress free. We even got an exit row on the flight. The airline, LAN Peru, was much nicer than Spirit even though they have the same kind of planes. I think there are a couple less ( Read more... )
