Yes, yes...
We did the final 5k of the year on Saturday, the Jingle Jog. It was really cold and there were like a zillion people there. We weren't able to really start running until about two minutes into the race. People are annoying... Anyways, i posted an unimpressive 27:44. I guess that's what you get when you don't practice... There was lots of tasty junk food after (and before) the race though... Donuts and bagels and muffins and cookies and Starbucks and sports drinks and BBQ sandwiches and Varsity hot dogs and so on... And we had a Chick-fil-a sandwich before the race, which was probably not the best idea. But at least it was warm... Later in the day we went to Amy's graduation party and then visited Atari and his baby. It was small...
Sunday, i got some Glofish brand fish from the Wal*mart. I'm a little leary of Wal*fish, but we'll see. Sadly, one of my other fishes died on Monday and was given an honorable burial at sea. The others seem OK. I've been monitoring the ammonia levels and changing the water everyday, so hopefully the tank will get settled in soon... They're still not getting names until they've lived a little longer though...
We bought a Christmas tree last night after having Mandie and Sam drive us all over. We should probably get on decorating that...
