It's really, really cold now! Well, for the south of Sweden, anyway. :) The snow is still here, although it's mostly ice on the pedestrian/bicycle paths. BUT at long last I get to wear my new grey woolen winter coat that I bought in Cambridge! I've owned it for three months, but it hasn't been cold enough until now, so yesterday was the first day I wore it outside. And I feel really comfortable in it, and also smart-looking. :) It's nice to feel kind of well-dressed for once. I'm really glad I bought it.
The temperature in my bedroom was seventeen degrees this morning, and has stayed that way for most of the day. Pretty rotten for a flat that is supposed to have a guaranteed twenty.

Today I went to a small local theatre to see a play called
Skämmerskans dotter ("The Shamer's Daughter"), based on a Danish fantasy book for adolescents by Lene Kaaberbøl. I bought the ticket yesterday on impulse. I'm glad I finally managed to get myself to see a play, since I really want to do that much more, but don't really have anyone to go with, and so I hardly ever get around to it. I think the theatre company is semi-professional, so it wasn't a big production, but I really liked it, and it made me cry twice. And then I felt that it might be great fun to be in amateur theatre.
