Commit me, why don't you!
I survived another week at work, so far at least. It is Friday morning and it has been a rather uneventful week. My contractors came back Wed/Thur, yippee! Our staff-all-hands was on Tuesday afternoon instead of Wednesday morning. The only real flap for me was about a ridiculous commitment that was made on my behalf. The commitment was to call a followup to a meeting. I had wanted to call the meeting to clarify some details on the requests made with just a couple of the team members. I thought it was a silly requirement in the first place to make an official call for a meeting. The real cheese was the fact that although this item just showed up on the list this week it was dated for almost a month ago. Well before the meeting that I wanted a follow up on. Something is fishy here. I made that point known during the meeting but I expressed it to the wrong individual. Sorry, but it was just wrong on all accounts, whomever is to blame!
