Home from the Strom
I am back at my desk. This time I only wasted half the day loading equipment at the offsite. All in all, it went ok, just a couple of hiccups once we got started. Picked up BurgerKing on the way back. . . . Mmmm bad food. My plan to start eating healthier this week is getting a rip-roaring start with a Whopper value meal.
Glad to be back with my keyboard again. I just need to find out what it is I'm supposed to be doing.
This weekend with the roses was not in particular very exciting. I have a huge blackspot problem resulting in complete defoliation of a number of plants. I tried to put down some cornmeal only to find that it had rotted away. Eeeew. I mainly picked off bad leaves and weeded. A bad rosemom, I did not even deadhead. I used the remaining fertilizer mix from Tuesday (compost runoff and fermented fish) on the herbs and tomatoes. It smelled even more like the seashore after five days. It went from recently dead fish in nonesomuch bacteria to long dead fish and beefy bacteria. I hope to get out to deadhead tonight.
