So here I am in Washington D.C. with hollydb ZOMG!!! I am have a geekgasm as it’s the first time that I get to tour the city since WW has been on the air. So far, all we’ve done is walk around our hotel and Dupont Circle. We ate AWESOME pizza at a place called Goody’s. In fact, with it open until 4AM, we may sneak down for another slice later! LOL
Natchez was wonderful! If I knew how to upload pictures I would…consider it. There wasn’t a part of the trip that wasn’t lovely and I can’t wait to go back and stay again with Doug and Donald.
Oh, I’m starting a new fic. Soon. As soon as I get through Red Haven’s On Fire. It will be a Josh/Donna fic with Natchez ties. It will hopefully be much loved.
In the personal life…my brother is still a whirlwind of confusion. I have no idea if he checked into rehab today or not. And I’m getting a little depressed because I keep eating and gaining weight. And being depressed makes me want to eat.
Back to D.C….We are taking a tour tomorrow of all the highlights. Sunday morning we are going to check out the Cherry Blossom festival. I also want to go to the National Cathedral and the National Portrait Gallery (Stephen Colbert’s picture is in there! Hee!) We’ll see how much we can get in.
In the meantime, I’m gonna go watch some more West Wing, shower and do a little research. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
