Why is spam email so much more annoying than junk snail mail? It's essentially the same thing, except that junk snail mail also kills trees. And yet.

Today one of the particularly tenacious Viagra spams made it past our local machine's anti-spam software. The content was pretty standard, except for the end, which went like this:

Has anybody else seen the spam with the subject line that reads: "Curn like a porn star!"? I have to wonder whether it was a typo by someone whose English isn't the best, or a deliberate attempt to bypass anti-spam tools ( Read more... )
