There's something kind of warpedly cute about the right-wing Alberta provincial government going all "look! that was us! WE made that movie!" about "Brokeback Mountain". It kinda reminds me of the decidedly homophobic parents who can't help but get all "that's my boy!" at their gay son's wedding.
