I just bit my lip and now I am in pain... I am a smart one
So I went to go see Babel yesterday and I have to say it was probably one of the best movies I have seen in awhile besides Brick which I also highly recommend. What was so interesting about Babel was that it took what Crash did in ideology and then expounded it in this very intense story line which is unleashed at the audience as the story progresses. What I found interesting and profound was the interconnections people had/didn't have, even amongst their own communities/family structures. Not to say that this is a new idea but the movie does show it in a very different light and probably in a slightly extreme aspect but never the less interesting whether or not you believe this movie being realistic.
I have to say DJ Shadow's Preemptive Strike is by far the best CD for night time driving... just perfect. I really want to get the new Damien Rice CD but have a bad feeling I am going to be disappointed, most of the reviews I have read have been not really positive. Then Incubus is coming out with a new album in two weeks i believe, so that should be a must buy.
