bullz eye eh!
yesterday and today i recorded 'dubs on "all the shadows," the last song to be tracked for the pugs album. yesterday i did synths, today i did vocals. i've done the vocals so quickly for this album, and every time i'm done recording them i think i half-assed them, but after comping, i end up really liking them. i'm not post-producing my vocals any more than i did on previous albums (on which i spent much more time on my vocals), so maybe i'm just getting more consistent (certainly not better) with my singing? it's about time. anyway, 99% of my vocals for the album should be done now. i'm counting on ky and mayhaw to fill in all the holes with the good stuff.
last night alyssa and i picked up her parents at the airport at midnight, then drove them back to their house in gresham. it's crazy how many times i've either picked up or dropped people off at the airport over the years, but have never flown myself. but that will change next april when me, alyssa, her parents, her bro kyle and his gf go to maui!! i'm really excited about being on a plane. that's ridiculous to most people, but it sounds rad to me. i hope we crash on a deserted island in the south pacific (with a smoke monster).
