Beck and I stayed up watching Spaceballs last night 'til about 12:30. I was dragged out of bed at 9:30 (I meant to wake up at 9, but I set my alarm incorrectly or something) because I had to sub for Beck at her babysitting job while she went to a doctor's appointment (made last minute). I didn't mind, but it was unexpected.
The actual job itself was pretty good. I only had Ian, and he was busy showing me how he could play various N64 games. He's so cute when he plays Diddy Kong Racing ^_^ Even when he gets last place he thinks he's won. So cute. Anyway, I spent the time mostly pasting pics into my fanart notebook (I collect fanart I find online and put it in a notebook), until he decided that I had to practice playing the games (I had earlier told him I wasn't good at N64 stuff). Luckily, Becky came back before I had to play too much Mario64 (I don't really like that game).
Mom and I went to the bank after that to set up an account for me that I could use to get money when I'm in Japan, if I need it. Mom wasn't sure if we'd be able to set something like that up, but her friend Mrs. Beasley was there, and she assured us we could, and everyone knew we were friends with her, so they were extra nice to us.
We also went to the mall to get some new shoes for me, since my old ones were totally worn out and leaky. But first we had lunch at the Japanese stand. Teriyaki salmon and sushi for me, chicken and a spring roll for Mom. I had Mom try one of my sushi, but she didn't like it. She did give me all the clumps of rice she found, since I was using chopsticks and my rice didn't clump very well. When we got to the shoe store, I went through a lot of shoes, but finally decided on a pair of Avia sneakers and some loafers.
We went to BJ's before picking up Becky from work, and were home by 3:30. Stacy got hom a little after us, and then we all went to Curves. Back home, we started watching Spirited Away, took a break for dinner, and finished up after dinner. It was fun hearing everyone's reactions to it, especially their speculations. On No Face being let into the bath house:
Beck: Aw, he's touched.
Stacy: I don't know, that might be a bad idea...
Mom: He'll turn out good in the end.
I also watched the Digi Charat Summer Special on Stacy's computer. It was funky, but definitely would have been better without that bug guy. Oh well.
Maybe I'll play Uno later, but maybe not. As for tomorrow, I'm going to see my grandparents so they can see me before I go to Japan.

Now, a boatload of Spirited Away quizzes!

You're Zeniba! You can be a little fierce when
you're mad, but you are really rather nice. You
don't like your twin sister. (I apologize.
That's actually a picture of Yubaba. But Zeniba
looks exactly the same!)
