Easter

I had a pretty good, if cold, Easter. I went to Mom and Dad's church, where they're trying to reinstate the tradition of ringing bells every time "Hallelujah/Alleluia" is said or sung. And since they always sing the Hallelujah Chorus, there was lots of bell ringing going on. And the lady in charge of coffee hour after the service set up an awesome spread of everything, from an Easter cake to bagels and egg salad sandwiches.
Beck was doing worship for our church in town, so we met up with her later and went up to have lunch/dinner with Grandma (it was after three by the time we actually ate), although we brought everything for it ourselves and cooked it all there. I made a cheesecake from scratch yesterday, and that ended tasting all right, although I think it was runnier than it was supposed to be (not that you could tell from the finished product, but after I mixed up the filling, the recipe said that it was supposed to be scraped into the pan, and I didn't have any trouble just pouring it in).

Dave called me up on his way home from his parents' house, and we talked for a while. Apparently, all the letters have been sent out for the Woodrow Wilson, and since he didn't get one (no rejection or acceptance), that means he's on a waiting list. So we still need lots of prayer about that.
