What's Your LiveJournal Sitcom? (by

I had yesterday as well as today off, and since I hadn't gotten to go out to do the things I wanted to do last week, I made sure to do them on Friday, sort of. I wanted to go to the post office, the mall, Target, and Michael's, but Mom wanted to go to Wal-Mart and said if I went with her, we'd go out for chinese for lunch. I figured that it would just take a couple hours and I could at least get to the mall after that, plus I'd have some time today if need be. Well, by the time all was said and done, it was almost four. But I was able to get some of the things I was going to get right there (including yarn), so that was good. The main reason Mom wanted to go was to get Easter candy for some friends of hers who are missionaries in China. I don't know if all Wal-Marts are doing this, but the one we went to had part of its Easter candy aisle set aside for color-coded Easter goodies. Like, bags of Cadbury Mini Eggs that were all one color (same with M&M's and Hershey Kisses and the like, but that's more common): green, blue, orange, yellow, and pink. So Mom got a white chocolate bunny in each color and matching Peeps.
I did go to the mall after dinner, and while I would have preferred to go earlier, I didn't have too much trouble getting around.
Today I went to the post office before doing my usual library volunteering, and then I went to Jo-Ann Fabrics instead of Michael's. I also made dinner, the same kielbasa skillet thing I made a few weeks ago, except without potatoes. The other day Mom made glop for a lady at her church who just had a baby, so she left some home for Dad, and he had that instead.
The daughters of a friend of my folks were in their high school's production of Little Shop of Horrors, so we all went down to see it tonight. Not the greatest rendition I've seen, but it *was* just a high school production.
