We got our power back Friday around eight, which meant we were without for about two days. I called the power company on Thursday to make sure our street had been marked as without power, and the (awfully rude) representative said we were. Power out for over forty-eight hours, and still off. House reached 98 degrees last night, according to the thermostat. All of our food spoiled, so the house smells...pleasant. A little over a week ago Bowser got a hold of a wet wipes container (only the lid was hard plastic) that I had erroneously thrown away into the bathroom trashcan, on the same day I had erroneously left the bathroom door open after leaving the house.
