Summary: Choi Junhong thinks that maybe this will work.
It's so easy to crowd Yongguk against the wall. It's the ease of it that makes Junhong's breath catch momentarily in the back of his throat. He thought Yongguk would resist in some way, say something about the other members or their manager, protest their sudden physical closeness. But instead Yongguk just leans back against the wall totally at ease, head tilted to match eyes with Junhong, hands caught in his belt loops.
He opens his mouth just before Junhong leans down and, cupping Yongguk's face with his trembling hands, presses their lips together. Their mouths don't match up, lips to teeth, Yongguk's mouth still partially open, Junhong's lips pressed too tightly together, it's so awkward, fuck fuck fuck. Fuck. But he's come this far, so he pulls back slightly until he can fit Yongguk's bottom lip between his own and it is as soft as he thought it would be. The thought sends a thrum through his skin, warm and electric, just the slightest spark of hope that this might work coming alive in his chest. He tries to move his mouth properly but he doesn't know how and there's just the most marginal of movement from Yongguk's side, the barest return of pressure. A warm breath fans out over his cheek and then there are hands on his shoulders, soft and small and gentle as they push him away.
He opens his eyes to an expression he can barely describe. It's torn, between wanting and fear, making Yongguk's eyes slant down at the corners and eyebrows make a bid for each other at the apex of his face. "Junhong-ah," Yongguk says, voice more a rumble than a sound, though the next word is clear: "No."
Junhong's voice fails him. He takes a step back, letting Yongguk's hands fall from his shoulders.
Yongguk looks in pain, but he seems to have lost the ability to speak as well and he doesn't stop Junhong when he turns and walks shakily away.
